Quick Reference Guide Update
|
|
| In
2004 as part of Women's Health In the North's (WHIN) Information
Service, WHIN developed a women's-specific Quick Reference Guide (QRG).
The QRG was an online database of programs and services in the northern
sub-region of Melbourne. |
|
| In
2008, after an evaluation of WHIN's Information Service, a decision was
made that WHIN was no longer the most appropriate service to offer an
Information Service and the on-line QRG. |
| |
| Therefore, the QRG has now been removed
from the WHIN website and will no longer be available. In place of the
extensive QRG database WHIN has developed a summarised version for
women to use to find the service they are seeking. To access the Quick
Referral Guide please click here. |
|
In addition, WHIN identified that there
are a number of databases on the internet that are more appropriate for
women to use to search for programs and services. These databases
include:
|
| If you are looking for a General
Practicioner (GP) WHIN has developed a Step-by-Step document on how to
find a GP using the Service Seeker Database. For access to this
document please click here. |
| |
| If you are having any problems finding
the information you need through these databases, please contact WHIN
on 03 9484 1666 or email us on info@whin.org.au. |

If you need English language assistance when contacting any of the services listed in the above databases, please call:
