In the North is an incorporated membership organisation. It is managed
by a Board of Management made up of members. Members are women who live
and/or work in Melbourne’s northern metropolitan region, who are over
18 years old and interested in women’s health, women’s issues and
women’s services. Members are WHIN’s community support base.
Organisational membership is also available to
organisations that operate in the northern region. These include the
municipalities of Banyule, Darebin, Hume, Moreland, Nillumbik,
Whittlesea and Yarra. Women with an interest and commitment to women’s
health
issues who do not meet the membership eligibility criteria can apply to
become an associate member.
