Student Placements

WHIN has limited student placement opportunities.  If you are interested in completing a placement at WHIN, please check with your university/college to find out if there are any available as we are unable to respond to queries directly.

WHIN believes student placements work best when they are mutually beneficial: a rewarding learning experience for the student, and the benefit of the student’s skill-set for WHIN. As such, WHIN only offers placements when there is a specific project to complete, and when staff have capacity to offer high quality supervision and support to the student.

Volunteering

WHIN occasionally has volunteering opportunities. As with student placements, WHIN believes volunteering works best when it is mutually beneficial: a rewarding workplace experience for the volunteer, and the benefit of the volunteer’s skill-set for WHIN. As such, WHIN only offers volunteering opportunities when there is a specific project to complete, and when staff have capacity to offer high quality supervision and support to the volunteer.
